Özlem Çarıkçıoğlu (born 1 January 1994) is a Turkish female Olympian skier competing in the alpine discipline.[1]

Early life[]

Özlem Çarıkçıoğlu was born on 1 January 1994. She is a student of Industrial Engineering at Koç University in Istanbul.[2]

She is a member of the AKUT Search and Rescue Association,[2] and competed for the AKUT sports Club's Snow Sports Branch.[3]

Sports career[]

Çarılçıoğlu began skiing at the age of eight in Bursa, Turkey.[2]

She took part in the Alpine skiing Women's giant slalom and Women's slalom events at the 2015 Winter Universiade held in the Sierra Nevada Ski Station, Canada.[2]

She competed in the Alpine skiing Women's Giant slalom (37th place) and Women's slalom (did not finish) events at the 2017 Winter Universiade in Almaty, Kazakhstan.[2][4][5]
