Ülo Krigul

Ülo Krigul (born 7 November 1978 in Tallinn) is an Estonian composer.[1]

In 1997 he graduated from Tallinn Music High School. In 2006 he graduated from Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in composition speciality.[1]

He has been acted as a music organizer. Eg from 1995 to 1999 he belonged to the staff of jazz festival Jazzkaar. From 2005 to 2014 he was one of the artistic director of Estonian Music Days.[1]

He has also been a member (being a keyboard player or arranger) for several rock and jazz ensembles, eg Compromise Blue and Contus Firmus.[1]

Since 2003 he is a member of Estonian Composers' Union.[1]

Krigul's younger brother is classical musician Vambola Krigul.[2]
