Đặng Thị Minh Hạnh

Đặng Thị Minh Hạnh (Pleiku, 1961), hometown in Huế , Việt Nam is a fashion designer from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.[1] A director of the Vietnam Fashion Design Institute (FADIN) in Ho Chi Minh City,[2] she is leading figure in Vietnam's new fashion industry.[3] She specialises in hybridising traditional designs with modern clothing. Her work has been shown abroad, and at a Tokyo fashion fair in 1997, she became the first Vietnamese designer to be awarded an international prize.[1]
