Şenyurt is a village in the Ardeşen, Rize Province, in Black Sea Region of Turkey.

History[]

According to list of villages in Laz language book (2009), name of the village is Mexeniti.[2][3] Most villagers are ethnically Laz.[4]

Geography[]

The village lies to the 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) east of Ardeşen.[5]
