1872 Wallingford by-election
The Wallingford by-election of 1872 was fought on 9 March 1872. The byelection was fought due to the Death of the incumbent MP of the Conservative Party, Stanley Vickers. It was won by the Conservative candidate Edward Wells,[1] who was unopposed.
