The 1909 Rutgers Queensmen football team represented Rutgers University in the 1909 college football season . In their first and only season under head coach Herman Pritchard , the Queensmen compiled a 3–5–1 record and were outscored by their opponents, 74 to 62.[1] [2] The team captain was Edwin T. Leslie.[3]
