The 1928 Denver Pioneers football team was an American football team that represented the University of Denver in the Rocky Mountain Conference (RMC) during the 1928 college football season. In its fourth season under head coach Fred Dawson, the team compiled a 4–4–1 record (3–4–1 against RMC opponents), finished seventh in the conference, and outscored opponents by a total of 128 to 96.[1]
