The 1974–75 New York Rangers season was the 49th season for the team in the National Hockey League (NHL). A league realignment had the Rangers moved into the new Patrick Division within the Campbell Conference, where the team finished 2nd with 88 points. They qualified for the playoffs, losing in the preliminary round to the New York Islanders 2–1 in a best of three games series.
