The women's 200 metre backstroke competition at the 1999 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships took place on August 27–28 at the Sydney International Aquatic Centre.[1] The champion was Mai Nakamura of Japan.[2]
This race consisted of four lengths of the pool, all in backstroke.[3]
