American college football season
The 2002 Northern Illinois Huskies football team represented Northern Illinois University during the 2002 NCAA Division I-A football season. Northern Illinois competed as a member of the West Division of the Mid-American Conference (MAC). They were coached by Joe Novak. Despite finishing the season bowl eligible, the Huskies did not receive a bowl berth.
