The 2012 Euro Beach Soccer Cup was held in Moscow. The Luzhniki Palace of sports in the Russian capital will see the eight teams with better results in the 2011 come together for this competition, with a one-round knock-out system and scheduled for February 17–19.

Just as seven years ago, the Euro Beach Soccer Cup comes back to Russian soil, and, obviously the rigors of the Muscovite climate at that time of the year get the action to happen indoor. So, Russia, Switzerland, Portugal, Italy, Spain, Romania, Poland and France get ready to battle for one of the most prestigious contests in the season, the one precisely lifted by Likhachev’s side in the last edition, held in Rome.[1]
