The 2013 NECBL season was the 20th season of the New England Collegiate Baseball League, a wood bat collegiate summer baseball league. Changes for 2013 included the largest league expansion since 2003 with three new teams joining the league to increase the number of teams to 13.[1] These include two expansion franchises, the Plymouth Pilgrims[2] and the Ocean State Waves, as well as the Saratoga Brigade,[3] the former Saratoga Phillies franchise from the New York Collegiate Baseball League, and the NECBL's first foray into New York state.

Playoffs[]

Note: The 4th and final seeds in each division were determined the day after the regular season ended with tie-breaking games. Sanford clinched the 4th seed in the Eastern Division by virtue of their 4-2 home victory over Laconia. Sanford hosted the play-in game due to their season series win over the Muskrats. Holyoke clinched the 4th seed in the Western Division by virtue of their 7-1 home victory over Saratoga. Holyoke hosted the play-in game after winning a coin flip that was performed because the teams split the regular season series 3-3.
