  • March 11 – Transnistrian authorities bans the holding of a rally in support of pro-Russian forces in Crimea and southeastern Ukraine.[1]
  • March 15 – Amid annexation of the Crimean Peninsula by Russia, Ukraine seal its border with Moldova in the breakaway Transnistrian region for Russian males.[2][3]
  • March 18 - Transnistria formally requests to join the Russian Federation.[4]
