Rankings from STATS Poll

The 2015 Tennessee State Tigers football team represented Tennessee State University as a member of the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) in the 2015 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They were led by sixth-year head coach Rod Reed and played their home games at Nissan Stadium and Hale Stadium. Tennessee State finished the season 4–6 overall and 1–6 in OVC play to place eighth.

The Tigers were initially ineligible to participate in postseason play for the 2015 season to due APR violations, but an appeal was issued by athletic director Teresa Phillips, and the Tigers had the postseason ban lifted in early June due to the NCAA's miscalculation of the football program's APR based on outdated information the NCAA had used to determine the football program's APR. However, they failed to qualify for the FCS playoffs.
