The 2020 Southern Illinois Salukis football team represented Southern Illinois University in the 2020–21 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They were led by fifth-year head coach Nick Hill and played their home games at Saluki Stadium. They played as a member of the Missouri Valley Football Conference.

Previous season[]

The Salukis finished the 2019 season 7–5, 5–3 in MVFC play to finish tied for third place.

Schedule[]

Southern Illinois had a game scheduled against Wisconsin on September 12, which was later canceled before the start of the 2020 season.[1] An August 29 matchup with Kansas was announced on July 25.[2]
