The 2021 season is the Cincinnati Bengals' 52nd season in the National Football League, their 54th overall and their third under head coach Zac Taylor. They are also playing in new uniforms for the first time since 2004.[1] They attempt to make the playoffs for the first time since the 2015 season. With a Week 7 win over the Baltimore Ravens, the Bengals improved on their win total from the previous year. The Bengals clinched their first winning season since 2015 after a Week 16 win over the Ravens.[2]

In the off-season, long-time Bengals receiver A. J. Green signed with the Arizona Cardinals. Green had been with the team since they drafted him in 2011.[3] He left the team 2nd in franchise history, behind Chad Johnson, in receiving yards, receiving touchdowns, and receptions.
