The 2021 LSU Tigers football team represents Louisiana State University in the 2021 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Tigers play their home games at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and compete in the Western Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). They were led by sixth-year head coach Ed Orgeron in his last season. The Tigers were selected to play Kansas State in the 2022 Texas Bowl on January 4, 2022.[1]

The Tigers finished the 2020 season 5–5, 5–5 in SEC play to finish in fourth place in the Western Division. LSU announced a self-imposed bowl ban for the 2020 season. The self-imposed bowl ban was enacted due to the ongoing NCAA investigation at LSU.[2]
