The 2021 season for Team TotalEnergies is the twenty-second season in the team's existence and the twelfth as a UCI ProTeam.

On 16 June, ahead of the Tour de France, the team announced a rebranding from Total Direct Énergie to Team TotalEnergies, with a corresponding change of kit. The new name referred to title sponsor TotalEnergies' "strong ambition to become the company of all energies, committed to carbon neutrality by 2050."[1][2]
