The 2022 Tour of Britain is an eight-stage men's professional road cycling stage race. It will be the eighteenth running of the modern version of the Tour of Britain and the 81st British tour in total. The race starts on 4 September in Aberdeen, and final stage will be held on the Isle of Wight on 11 September; the first time the race has visited the island.[1]

Route[]

On 1 October 2021, the start and finish venues were announced, with the Grand Départ leaving Aberdeen on 4 September 2021 and the final stage will be held on the Isle of Wight on 11 September.[1] The tour will visit Dorset for the first time, and return to Yorkshire since 2009.[2] Nottinghamshire will host one of the midweek stages.[3] The dates and some locations were further announced on the 10th of February 2022[4] with routes expected to be announced in Spring 2022
