The 2022 Vuelta a España will be a three-week cycling race which will take place in the Netherlands, Belgium and Spain between 19 August and 11 September 2022. It will be the 77th edition of the Vuelta a España and the third and final grand tour of the . The race will depart from Utrecht and finish in Madrid.[1]

Teams[]

Twenty-three teams will participate in the 2022 Vuelta a España. All eighteen are obliged to participate. Five UCI ProTeams will also participate: Alpecin–Fenix and Arkéa–Samsic are automatically invited as the two best-performing ProTeams in 2021.
