The 75th Annual Tony Awards is set to be held on June 12, 2022, to recognize achievement in Broadway productions during the 2021–22 season. The ceremony will be held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City and will be broadcast live on CBS for the first time coast to coast.[1][2]

Eligibility[]

The Tony Awards eligibility cut-off date for the 2021-2022 season is Thursday, April 28, 2022 for all Broadway productions which meet all other eligibility requirements. Nominations for the 2022 Tony Awards will be announced on Tuesday, May 3, 2022.[3][4] A revival of West Side Story that opened February 20, 2020 was not considered eligible for the 74th Tony Awards because too few nominators and voters saw it before Broadway shut down on March 12, 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and it did not resume when Broadway reopened.
