A. Q. M. Mahbub is a Bangladeshi academic and current Vice-chancellor of the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University. He is a former professor of the Geography and Environment department of University of Dhaka.[2][3] He works on the themes of environment, population mobility and urban planning.[4] After retirement, he was appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University (BSMRSTU), Gopalganj by the Ministry of Education in 2020.[5]
