"A New Flame" is a 1989 song by English soul band Simply Red, released as the third single from their third studio album by the same name (1989). It is written by Mick Hucknall and produced by Stewart Levine. The song was a Top 20 hit in the UK, peaking at number 17 on the UK Singles Chart. Additionally, it reached the Top 30 in Ireland, the Netherlands and New Zealand.

Music video[]

A music video was produced to promote the single, directed by Vaughan Arnell and Anthea Benton.[2] It was later published on Simply Red's official YouTube channel in May 2009. The video has amassed more than 5,6 million views as of October 2021.[3]
