Aaron Kemmer[1][2][3] is an entrepreneur, advisor, business manager, and program developer. He founded multiple companies, including the in-space manufacturing company Made In Space, Inc. and the virtual assistant on demand company Magic.[4]

Made in Space[]

Aaron Kemmer is the co-founder, current Chairman, Made In Space, Inc.[5][6]

In 2010, Aaron and his co-founders started Made In Space as a space manufacturing company with the goal of enabling humanity’s future in space. He served as the company's CEO and President for the initial five years of the company before becoming Chairman in 2015.[7]

In 2011, Aaron became lead logistical program manager for the development of the 3D printer Made In Space that was launched to the International Space Station in August 2014. The Made In Space 3D Printer became the first device to manufacture parts off of Earth when it successfully conducted its mission in November 2014.[8][9]

A serial entrepreneur and advisor, Mr. Kemmer co-founded Made In Space when Singularity University offered the challenge of creating a project that would affect 1 billion people. Aaron’s belief is that off-world manufacturing will dramatically change the way we look at space exploration, commercialization, and mission design today.[10]

Singularity University Summer Program[]

In 2010, Kemmer was selected as one of 80 students (out of 1,800) to participate in the Singularity University Summer Program, an interdisciplinary program based at the NASA Ames campus in Silicon Valley.

Magic[]

In February 2015, Aaron co-founded Magic.[11][12] Magic is a virtual personal assistant on demand where you can communicate via text message.[13]

Forbes 30 under 30[]

Aaron was selected to be in Forbes 30 under 30 in 2015.[16] Aaron was selected for his work[17][18][19][20][21][22][23] along with his Made In Space co-founders for creating the first 3-D printer functional in zero gravity.[24][25][26] It is used on the International Space Station for creating custom tools for astronauts.[27][28][29][30][31]
