Aayush Sharma (born 30 October 1990)[1] is an Indian actor who works in Hindi films. He made his film debut in his brother-in-law Salman Khan's production Loveyatri (2018). His latest film Antim: The Final Truth (2021) was critically and commercially acclaimed, in which he starred alongside Khan.

Early life[]

Aayush Sharma was born on 26 October 1990[1] in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh to Anil and Sunita Sharma.[2][3] He has a sibling, Aashray Sharma.[4] He is the grandson of veteran congress leader Pandit Sukh Ram, ex-cabinet minister, who comes from village Kotli in district Mandi. Sharma's family has been involved in politics from more than 50 years and have a very special place in Himachal politics.[5]

Career[]

In 2018, Sharma debuted in Bollywood with Loveyatri alongside Warina Hussain, which was directed by debutant Abhiraj Minawala and produced by Salman Khan under Salman Khan Films.[6][7] In 2020, he appeared in the music videos "Manjha" with Saiee Manjrekar, written and composed by Vishal Mishra.[8][9] In 2021, he appeared in Antim: The Final Truth, opposite Salman Khan and is also produced by him, which released on November 26, 2021.[10] Both the movies didn't perform well at the box office.[11]

Sharma and Isabelle Kaif (Katrine Kaif's sister) are on making of a Hindi movie Kwatha, where Sharma played a role of an army officer.[12][13][14]

Film expert Taran Adarsh tweeted that Kwatha was filming since 2019.[15]

Personal life[]

Sharma is married to Arpita Khan, the younger sister of Salman Khan.[16] They have a son Ahil (born March 30, 2016)[17] and a daughter Ayat (born 27 December 2019).[18]
