Abdullah ibn Uthman ibn Affan (Arabic: عبدالله بن عثمان بن عفان‎; 620 – 625), was a grandson of the Islamic prophet Muhammad and a son of Uthman ibn Affan (the third righteous caliph) and Muhammad's daughter Ruqayyah.[1]

Biography[]

Musab Zubayri narrated that When Uthman migrated to Abyssinia, he was accompanied by his wife Ruqayyah bint Muhammad. A child named Abdullah was born in the land of Abyssinia in 2 BH.[2]

When he was six years old, a rooster bit his eye which made him sick.He died in Jumada al-Thani 4 AH. Muhammad led his funeral prayers.[3]
