Acanthus hirsutus is a species of flowering plant in the Acanthaceae family.[1]

It contains the glycosides (2-(o-hydroxyphenyl)-2-hydroxyethenyl-O-beta-glucopyranoside), luteolin-7-O-beta-D-glucuronide, and .[2]
