Acer heldreichii is a species of flowering plant in the Sapindaceae family.[5] It is referred to by the common names Heldreich's maple, mountain maple, Greek maple, and Balkan maple[6][7][1] is a European species of maple.[8][2][9] It is native to Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Serbia, and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Acer heldreichii is a tree up to 20 meters tall. Leaves are 5–14 cm long, deeply cut into 5 lobes.[8][10]
