Adi Nalić (Bosnian pronunciation: [ǎdi nâlitɕ]; born 1 December 1997) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Allsvenskan club Malmö FF and the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.
Nalić started his professional career at Mjällby AIF, before joining Landskrona BoIS in 2017. In 2019, he moved to Malmö FF, who loaned him to AFC Eskilstuna later that year.
Nalić made his senior international debut for Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2021.
Club career[]
Early career[]
Nalić came through Mjällby AIF's youth setup. He made his professional debut against Tvååkers IF on 11 September 2016 at the age of 18.[2]
In January 2017, he moved to Landskrona BoIS.[3] On 19 February, he scored his first professional goal against Gefle IF, which sent his team through in their cup tie.[4]
Malmö FF[]
In November 2018, Nalić joined Malmö FF on a contract until December 2022.[5]
He was sent on a season-long loan to AFC Eskilstuna in March 2019.[6]
Nalić made his competitive debut for Malmö FF on 15 June 2020.[7] On 12 August, he scored his first goal against Örebro SK, which secured the victory for his team.[8] He won his first trophy with the club on 8 November, when they were crowned league champions.[9]
On 14 September 2021, Nalić debuted in UEFA Champions League against Juventus.[10]
International career[]
In May 2021, Nalić received his first senior call-up to Bosnia and Herzegovina, for friendly games against Montenegro and Denmark.[11] He debuted against former on 2 June.[12]
Personal life[]
Nalić's father Zlatan was also a professional footballer, as well as his grandfather Mesud.[13]
