Gustavo Adrián Ruelas Aguilar (born March 18, 1991) is an American soccer player who has played for both Mexican and US national teams.

Club career[]

Ruelas signed for Club Santos Laguna, and captained the Santos under-20 team.[1] Celtic agreed to a deal with Santos Laguna,[2] for a one-year loan with an option to buy him,[3] but the move was not made permanent.[4][5] Ruelas made his debut for the Santos first team on March 5, 2011, in a 3–2 loss to Club América.[6]

Ruelas has been called up to Mexico's national under-17 football team. Ruelas was also called to the U.S. U-20 national football team.[7]
