After Romeo was a band based in Los Angeles, California.[1] After Romeo was formed in late 2012 by Drew Ryan Scott, Jayk Purdy, and T.C. Carter after their previous band, Varsity Fanclub, was disbanded. The band consisted Drew Ryan Scott, Jayk Purdy, T.C. Carter, Blake English, and Devin Fox.

They released an album titled "The Story Continues..." "Good Things" EP as well as The Love On Lock EP and Christmas EP. After touring across the U.S. many times; they toured internationally in Japan and other countries. After Romeo was featured in the worldwide Samsung commercial which featured two of their original songs "Good Things" and "Convenience." The band performed them in a concert environment for the commercial. The band disbanded in 2017.

History[]

2012-2015: Formation and Debut[]

After Romeo was formed by three remaining members of Varsity Fanclub: Drew Ryan Scott, Jayk Purdy, and T.C. Carter. After Romeo began by recording songs written by Drew Ryan Scott and releasing videos on a YouTube channel.[2] The music video of After Romeo's promotional single Free Fall reached number one on the MTV music chart and was featured in an internationally broadcast advertisement.[3] In February 2014, After Romeo was launched in the Italian music market.[4] After Romeo has been playing on Radio Disney and reached number 6 on the countdown. They started a Bully Proof tour and went to cities across the U.S. to talk in schools and also perform concerts on the weekends in those cities. They recently performed at Washington middle school in Seattle.

2015-2017: The Good Things Era[]

They have also toured on the 2015 Pop Nation Tour around the U.S. as well. The group disbanded in 2017.[5]
