Agharia
Agharia is a Hindu caste from India.
The Aghrias are found predominantly in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, western parts of Odisha and Chhota Nagpur. Aghrias are the Rajputs of Agra who left Agra in the 16th century unable to bear the intolerant torture of Sikandar Lodi. They were given shelter by the Kalinga king and started living their lives in Western parts of Odisha.[1]

According to their local oral traditions, the name of the community is derived from Agra, from where their Rajput ancestors migrated to other places.[1][2]
Dialect[]
Laria is the dialect of the Agharia community and varies by region, with roots in the Ardha Magadhi language.[1]
