Ahmed Ezz Eldine Ali Ezzat (Arabic: أحمد عز الدين علي عزت; born July 23, 1971), is an Egyptian actor. He was born and raised in Maadi, Cairo Governorate. Ezz majored in English literature and earned his bachelor's degree from Ain Shams University. He also modeled while working in the field of tourism. His first appearance was in Assala's music video "Lama Gat Einak Fi Einy". In the same year, he appeared in a small role in Inas El-Degheidy's movie Kalam El Lail (Night Whispers). Later, El-Degheidy gave Ezz the starring role in Mozakarat Morehead (Memoirs of a Teenager). But his breakthrough roles was in the Egyptian series Malak Rohi (2003), the 2004 film Hob El-Banat (Girl's Love), and Sana Oula Nasb (First Year of Deception) in the same year. After that, he began to play roles in Action, thriller, and suspense films.

Acting career[]

Ezz had a small role in the film Kalam El Lail (Night Whispers), directed by Inas El-Degheidy. After that, he joined Actor's Studio, a one-year program designed and maintained by working professionals in the field to teach the basics of acting and film making. Soon after, he was offered a role in Al Sharaf (Honor), which won an award from the Alexandria Film Festival. But it was not until he was offered the lead in Mozakarat Moraheqa (Memoirs of a Teenager), another El-Deghidy movie, that he rose to stardom. His real breakthrough was in Yousra's series Malak Rohi (2003). In 2005, He played a role away from romantic roles in Mallaki Eskenderiya (Alexandria Private). After that, he played various roles like his role that mix between romance, comedy, and thriller in El-Rahina (The Hostage).

Personal life[]

Ezz married the Egyptian singer Angham. Yet, they kept their marriage secret due to some family problems Angham was facing at the time. Their marriage officially ended in 2012.[4] In 2014, Zeina accused Ezz of being the father of her twin boys after a customary marriage. Ezz denied such allegations and refused to do a DNA test ordered by the court. The court decided in favour of Zeina and registered the boys as his kids. Later on, another court ruled that he must spend three years in jail with a fine up to EGP 15,000 for slandering the actress Zeina.[5] Ezz still denies his paternity of the two children until now.
