Plano, Texas based Aimbridge Hospitality is a global third-party hotel management company with 1,330 hotels, resorts and conference centers located throughout North America and Caribbean, and 93 internationally, with a global pipeline of 234 properties as of November 2020.[1] Aimbridge Hospitality, co-founded by Dave Johnson, launched in 2003 with eight hotels. [2]

Interstate Hotels & Resorts merged with Aimbridge Hospitality in 2019.[3] The merger integration was in full swing and in March 2020, the company responded to the effects of the pandemic.[4] In November 2020, Aimbridge Hospitality announced its expanded receiver services to help stabilize hotels with distressed debt and recover lost value due to the ongoing challenges in the hospitality industry.[5] In December 2020, the company announced Mike Deitemeyer as president and chief executive officer and Dave Johnson as executive chairman, effective January 1, 2021.[6]
