Akashaditya lama (born 9 March 1977) is a screen writer and film maker[1]

Career[]

His first stint with film writing was with the film Lahore, directed by National Award-winning director Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan. Lama has co-written Chauhan's next directorial venture Chanda Mama Door Ke and Tauba Tera Jalwa starring Ameesha Patel, Jatin Khurana and Angela Krislinzki. Lama also written and co produced Hindi play Mohenjodare .[2] Lama directed his first film in 2012 titled Cigarette Ki Tarah,[3] He has directed film Nani Teri Morni

Apart from writing Akashaditya Lama has served as member and jury in Government of India’s various cultural as well film bodies like Central Board of Film Certification Jury member at 52nd International Film Festival of India at Goa, for non-feature film section.[4]
