Akhay Kumar Das

Akhay Kumar Das (Bengali: অক্ষয় কুমার দাস) was a Bengali politician. He was a member of the 1st National Assembly of Pakistan as a representative of East Pakistan.[1]

Background[]

Das was born into a Bengali Hindu family in Sunamganj, Sylhet District, Assam Province, British Raj.

Career[]

Das was a Member of the Constituent Assembly of Pakistan.[2] In Parliament he spoke for the rights of East Bengal and restoration of democratic rights.[3]
