Alai Osai (transl. Sound of the Wave) is a 1985 Indian Tamil language film directed by Sirumugai Ravi. The film stars Vijayakanth and Nalini .^[1] It was given an A (restricted to adults) certificate by the censor board.^[2] The film was dubbed in Telegu as Praja Poratam.^[3]

Soundtrack[]

Soundtrack was composed by Ilaiyaraaja.^[4] The lyrics for the songs were written by Ilayabharathi, Gangai Amaren, Muthulingam, Kamakodian and Vairamuthu.^[5] The song "Poradada" was used in the 2018 Tamil movie, "Pariyerum Perumal".^[6]
