Alan King (born 18 January 1945 in Birkenhead, England)[1] is a footballer who played as a left half for Tranmere Rovers, Ellesmere Port,[2] Runcorn,[3] Bangor City and Marine.[4] He made 385 appearances for Tranmere, 341 in the Football League, scoring 38 goals.[1][2]

He is currently a matchday host for Tranmere.[4]
