Albania made their Eurovision Young Musicians debut at the Eurovision Young Musicians 2018 in Edinburgh, United Kingdom.[1] The country's first participant was selected by a panel of judges through a televised national final on 11 June 2018.[2] Albania previously attempted to take part in 2004. The country was listed as performing 9th at the first day of semi-finals, however in the end did not take part or broadcast the contest.[3]
