Aleksei Yevgenyevich Kravchenko (Russian: Алексе́й Евге́ньевич Кра́вченко;[1] born October 10, 1969) is a Soviet and Russian actor known for his role in the 1985 film Come and See as a young boy in the resistance army.
Biography[]
He was born in Podolsk, Moscow Oblast in the USSR in 1969. In 1985, aged 16, he made his debut in the film Come and See directed by Elem Klimov. He was 14 when filming started. After graduating from vocational school, he served in the Navy.
He attended the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute, starting in 1991 and graduating in 1995 (he was taught by renowned actress Alla Kazanskaya).
He did not act in anything for more than a decade, but since 1998, he has appeared in at least one film or TV show almost every year. He was awarded the Merited Artist of the Russian Federation in 2007.[1]
In 2007, he was accepted into the troupe of the Moscow Art Theatre. He is the "Guarana" group founder and leader. The music in a "Guarana" performance was played in the series "Russian Special Forces".
In 2020, he was awarded the People's Artist of Russia.[2]
Personal life[]
Aleksei was married to Alisa Kravchenko; they divorced in 2006. Currently he is married to actress Nadezhda Borisova.
