Ali Plumb

Ali Plumb is a British film critic, broadcaster and journalist, primarily known for working for Radio 1.

Early life[]

Whilst studying English Literature at Warwick University, Plumb worked with the RAW 1251AM team at the radio station and worked on the university’s student paper, The Boar.[1]

Career[]

Plumb worked for Empire (film magazine) and Digital Spy before joining BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra as their film critic in 2016 where he also runs Radio 1’s Screen Time podcast.[2]
