Allelujah is a film adaptation of Alan Bennett's play of the same name which will star Jennifer Saunders, , Russell Tovey, David Bradley, Derek Jacobi, and Judi Dench. It will be directed by Richard Eyre, with Heidi Thomas adapting the screenplay. It will be produced by Pathé, BBC Film and Ingenious Media and will be distributed by Pathé in France and Switzerland as a standalone distributor and in the UK via Warner Bros. Pictures.[1]

In October 2021, it was announced that Judi Dench, Derek Jacobi, Jennifer Saunders, Bally Gill, Russell Tovey, and David Bradley had joined the cast of the film,[2] and principal photography began later that month.[3][4]
