Altforst is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of West Maas en Waal, and lies about 10 km north of Oss.

In 2001, the village of Altforst had 113 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.029 km², and contained 37 residences.[1] The statistical area "Altforst", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 540.[2]
