Altin Kryeziu (born 3 January 2002) is a Kosovan footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Virton, on loan from Torino.

Club career[]

Early career and SPAL[]

Kryeziu was born and raised in Kranj, Slovenia in a family of footballers where his two older brothers, Drilon and Egzon were professional footballers. He at the age of nine started playing football in Triglav Kranj, where after eight years it was transferred to Campionato Primavera 2 club SPAL.[1] On 14 September 2019, he made his debut in a 2–1 home win against Brescia after coming on as a substitute at 68th minute in place of Mikael Egill Ellertsson.[2] On 27 October 2019, he was named as a first team substitute for the first time in a league match against Napoli.[3]

Torino[]

On 25 September 2020, Kryeziu joined Campionato Primavera 1 side Torino.[4] Two days later, he made his debut in a 0–1 home defeat against Sassuolo after coming on as a substitute at 55th minute in place of Alessandro Mirabelli.[5] On 22 November 2020, he was named as a first team substitute for the first time in a league match against Inter Milan.[6]

Loan at Virton[]

On 16 August 2021, Torino announced the season-long loan of Kryeziu to Belgian First Division B side Virton.[7] Four days later, the club confirmed his joining the team.[8] Two days after joining, he made his debut in a 2–0 away defeat against Lierse Kempenzonen after being named in the starting line-up.[9]

International career[]

Slovenia[]

On 23 August 2018, Kryeziu received a call-up from Slovenia U17 for the friendly matches against Switzerland U17.[10] Five days later, he made his debut with Slovenia U17 in the first friendly match against Switzerland U17 after coming on as a substitute at 57th minute in place of Jan Majcen.[11]

Kosovo[]

On 29 August 2020, Kryeziu received a call-up from Kosovo U21 for the 2021 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualification match against England U21,[12] and made his debut after being named in the starting line-up.[13]
