Alto Bin Linus (born 25 September 1986)^[1] is a professional footballer who plays as a midfield and forward for Sabah FA. A versatile player, Alto has played in multiple positions, including on the wing and full-back.He began his career as youth player for Keningau or Pedalaman FC, before join Sabah FA. In 2012, he was called up by K. Rajagopal to represent the national team for the 2015 AFC Asian Cup qualification.

Early career[]

Alto Linus played for amateur team, Keningau or Pedalaman FC against amateur team like Sook FC in friendly match. He also played as forward in the starting line-up.

Sabah FA[]

Alto Linus joined Sabah FA in 2010 who trained with their other Sabah FA players. He became the first player from Interior Division to play for Sabah FA in the league, Malaysia FA Cup and Malaysia Cup. His positions are midfield or forward.

T-Team[]

In 2014, he joined Terengganu Neighbour T-Team. He only played twice and did not score any goals.

Return To Sabah FA[]

In April 2014, he joined his former team Sabah FA, making his comeback after a year with T-Team.

In Jun 2019, he scored an important goal against Negeri Sembilan at Likas Stadium to ensure Sabah at the top of league.

International career[]

Alto Linus earned his first cap for Malaysia in 2012 where he was called up K. Rajagopal to represent the national team for the 2015 AFC Asian Cup qualification.
