Ambar Khirid Roy pronunciation (help·info) (5 June 1945, Kolkata, Bengal – 19 September 1997, Kolkata) was an Indian cricketer who played in 4 Tests in 1969.
In test Matches[]
In his first test innings, in Oct. 1969, Roy scored 48 against NZ, at Nagpur. This score included ten boundaries.[1] He did not score well in subsequent matches, and after poor scores against Australia at Delhi & Kolkata, later in the season, he was dropped. In his final test match, at his home ground Kolkata, he scored 18 & 19.[2]
