American Night is a 2021 neo-noir film. It is the feature film debut of director who also wrote the screenplay.

Plot[]

A courier carrying Andy Warhol’s famous “” arrives in New York City. Art and life collide as John Kaplan (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) tries to juggle the mob and his talent as an art forger with his love for Sarah Flores (Paz Vega).[1][2]

Release[]

In August 2021, it was announced that Saban Films acquired North American distribution rights to the film.[3] It premiered at the Venice Film Festival in September 2021 and was released in select theaters in the U.S.[4][5][6]

Cast[]

Michael Madsen, Maria Grazia Cucinotta, Marco Leonardi, appear in cameos as does Anastacia who wrote and performed the title song for the film, "American Night”.[7][8]
