Amma (transl. Mother) is a 1976 Indian Malayalam film, directed by M. Krishnan Nair and produced by K. P. Kottarakkara. The film stars Madhu, Srividya, Adoor Bhasi and Jose Prakash in the lead roles. The film has musical score by M. K. Arjunan.[1][2][3] The film was a remake of the Tamil film Annai, which itself was remade from the Bengali film Maya Mriga.[4]
