Amshipora or Amshi Pora (locally known as Amashpur) is a village, situated in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir, India.[3][4] It is situated 6 km (3.7 mi) away from Shopian town, the district headquarters towards its south. The village is bounded by Saidpora Bala and Saidpora Payeen in the north, Vehil-Shamsipora in the east, Ramnagri (Jumnagar) in the south & Sedow in the west. The main economic activity of its denizens is cultivation of fruits especially apples. The village is connected by a metalled road with Shopian town.

According to 2011 Census of India, there are 268 households residing in Amshipora village and the total population is 1,712. The total area of this village is 1.95 square km.[citation needed] Islam is the religion of its entire population.
