Ali Loui Al-Fakhri (Arabic: علي لؤي الفخري‎; born 4 July 1996) better known as AnEsonGib, is a British YouTuber.

Early life[]

Ali Loui Al-Fakhri was born on 4 July 1996 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. During his childhood, he and his family moved to the United Kingdom. He is a Muslim.[4]

YouTube career[]

On 18 August 2012, he joined YouTube as AnEsonGib,[5] uploading his first video in November of the same year.

He has collaborated with YouTubers KSI and Wroetoshaw of the Sidemen.[6][7]

Boxing career[]

On 3 February 2018, Gib fought his friend and fellow YouTuber MaxPlaysFifa in a white-collar amateur bout on the undercard of the KSI vs. Joe Weller event at the Copper Box Arena in London,[8] winning by technical knockout in the second round.[9]

His second amateur bout came against YouTuber Jay Swingler of TGFbro on 31 August 2018 at the Manchester Arena, as part of the undercard for KSI vs. Logan Paul. Gib won by unanimous decision (UD).[10]

Gib challenged YouTuber Jake Paul in September 2019. Paul initially turned down the challenge; however, after a confrontation between the two at a press conference for KSI vs. Logan Paul II, Paul confirmed a bout would take place on 31 January 2020 in Miami, Florida. In a bout which was sanctioned as a professional contest, Gib suffered defeat via first-round technical knockout.[11]

On 12 June 2021, Gib fought American TikToker Tayler Holder in an amateur bout at the YouTubers vs. TikTokers event. The result was originally announced as a majority draw.[12][13] However, following controversy, the result was changed to a UD victory for Gib after a review by the officiating organisation.[14][15]
